The study discusses the vocal implementation of prose in the novel Peterburg by Andrej Beli as a complementary semantic regulatior, which with the interplay of vocal images on the phonological level of the text and an imaginative selection and organization of vocal motives in the composition and structure of the novel intensifies the network of correspondences of analogies and allusions as individual elements of the grotesque structure of the novel and thereby soldifies the semantic unity of the masterpiece, augments its symbolic value and intensifies its complexity.
